Sure its easy to get out of the aoe of Dredge's explosive taken by itself as a single deployment, but its not a good time to have to constantly be watching your positioning (something that takes actual skill) when the guy forcing you to do all this is just spamming everywhere with 0 skill. Its another thing to have that constantly coming at you. See, its one thing to have an ability like BK or Willo where you have area denial occassionally (and its easy to avoid). Its not a matter of whether Dredge is OP, its a matter that his sort of spam aoe pressure isn't good for the game. ♥♥♥♥ THIS IS SOMETHING I'VE BEEN WANTING TO SEE SINCE TUMBLR STARTED. Even though some players are better than others you're all expressing your opinions so well and not ripping eachothers heads off :D I LOVE IT. It's cool to see though that everyone (almost) and even pro players are talking about this without a stick up their arse. I'm that grey area between console and PC gamers - so for those of you out there who don't find dredge a problem then that's great! But for us casual players its kind of a big deal not being able to play a few rounds of TDM without getting rage filled because of a stupid pirate that we've all seen get top play too many times. Personally i'm a very casual paladins player, i'm not exactly bad but i'm not great either. I didn't realise just how much attention this question would get, its great to hear everyone's opinions on things especially given it affects a lot of the gameplay. Don't get me wrong she's still OP but we can actually work our way around that. I know that when Moji was introduced we were all complaining then as well, but she was managable we actually found a way to deal with her. I was playing in a round before where this dredge got top play (shocker, right?) and afterwards I said GG as usual and he HIMSELF admitted that he wasn't even trying and if he were playing any other champion he wouldn't have done nearly as well - a dredge player is wishing dredge a nerfing job. Have they not heard the complaints about him? I'm sure they have, i'm pretty convinced that they must at least somewhat monitor the chats in game and if they don't social media is probably on their asses about it.
